Seller note:

1997 Seadoo XP $1895 firm.
The 1997 XP is the 1st of the new generation of hulls that is still being pre-owned today. It won numerous PWC (personal watercraft) of the year awards.
It has the 787cc two-stroke twin cylinder Rotax engine producing 110HP. This ski has good and even compression on both cylinders. The two-stroke engine has the advantage over the new four strokes of being more powerful for their size, lighter, and much less expensive to rebuild if anything goes wrong.
In fact, the entire ski is much lighter than the newer skis. It has a dry weight of 525 lbs while the while the current Seadoo GTX S 155 4 stroke weighs 960 pounds dry (it is a three seater, it doesn't look like Seadoo makes any two seaters anymore).
The change in hull design meant a lean in style of turning instead of the lean out type. It turns like a motorcycle meaning you lean into the turns.
It also has the rear suspension seat. This really smooths out the ride. You can really tell after riding a ski without the suspension.
This ski is very stable and in fact the person in the fifth and seventh images is cannot swim and is deathly afraid of water. These images were taken last summer during her 1st time on a jetski. She was brave and really enjoyed it.
You will notice numerous Seadoo skis with blown up engines. The problem is the factory fuel lines. They degrade and gum up the carburetor causing the engine to run lean and blow up. The solution for this is to replace all of the fuel lines (there are a lot) with new non-degradable lines. I have replaced all of the fuel lines in this ski.
This ski was not kept on the water or outside (which is really tough on the gel coat). It has been kept in my garage year round.
This ski is pure fun!

This does not come with a trailer, but I have a nice 1998 Lund aluminum trailer with LED taillights. It was originally made to hold two large jetskis, but I have converted it to hold 1 large ski, a medium ski and a stand up at the same time. This conversion cost me about $600. It was designed so that it can easily be converted back to hold 2 larger skis. I would let it go for $950 with the ski.
I could deliver the ski to your house if you don't live too far away to give you time to find a trailer for a terrific price. You would have to buy the ski 1st though.
There are often many single place (hold 1 ski) trailers for sale pre-owned for around $300 (some for less).
